Ora “Granny Curtis” Gladell, 88, of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.

Born April 9, 1919 in Logan, WV; she came here from West Virginia in 1960. She was a homemaker and a member of the Southside Baptist Church of Frostproof.

Survivors include her daughter, Bessie Bragg of Arcadia; sons, Bobby Curtis of Frostproof; Jessie Curtis of Frostproof; brother, Thomas Lovett of East Liverpool, OH; sisters, Ruth Clay of Branshland, WV; Juanita VanFossen of Belleview, ND; Katherine Dillinger of IN; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, March 14, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof.
