Omar Reyes

Omar Reyes of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born December 21, 1934 in Cuba to the late Rafael Reyes and Josefina Viera; he came here 6 years ago from St. Cloud. He was a missionary pastor for Missions Door and he was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Ada Perez; 5 sons, Samuel Reyes of Fort Mill, SC, Saul Reyes of Lakeland, David Reyes of Lake Hamilton, Abner Reyes of Miami and J. Marcos Reyes of Berea, KY; and 18 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Lake Wales Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the Faith Baptist Church, 1990 Neptune Road, Kissimmee, FL 34744.
