Olga Sifuentes Reyes

Olga Sifuentes Reyes passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, at Palm Gardens of Winter Haven, just one day after celebrating her 76th birthday. Born on August 18, 1950, in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, Olga’s life was a testament to care, love, and grace.

A dedicated homemaker, Olga centered her days around the wellbeing of her family. She took profound joy in nurturing and caring for her grandchildren, always placing their happiness and needs above her own. Her kitchen was often filled with warmth and the aromas of her home-cooked meals, which she lovingly prepared for her loved ones. Olga’s cooking was just one way she expressed her deep devotion to her family.

Olga found pleasure in life’s simple joys, such as reading and dressing up. She was known as a very classy woman, whose elegance was only matched by her kindness. Whether she was enjoying a good book or putting together an outfit for church service, Olga brought dignity and poise to everything she did.

Her heart expanded well beyond the walls of her home. A devoted member of her church, Olga’s faith was a guiding light in her life. She maintained a loving relationship with her neighbors, consistently offering warmth and generosity to those around her.

Olga was preceded in death by her husband, Jorge Luis Figueroa; parents, Roman Sifuentes and Zenaida Reyes; brother, Roman Sifuentes, Jr.; and sister, Felicita Sifuentes. She is survived by her children, Zenaida Figueroa (Jaime Ortiz) of Lake Wales; sons, Jorge Figueroa (Marangeli Colon) of Haines City, Adith Figueroa (Melissa Ferrer) of Puerto Rico; siblings, Amelia Sifuentes (Johnnie) of Ohio, Hector Sifuentes (Elsa) Rivera, Damaris Sifuentes of Winter Haven, Radames Sifuentes (Miriam) of Lake Wales, and Jose Sifuentes of Ohio; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until the funeral service at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Pastor Carlos Figueroa officiating. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery the following day.

Olga Sifuentes Reyes falleció en paz el 19 de agosto de 2026 en Palm Gardens de Winter Haven, tan solo un día después de celebrar su 76.º cumpleaños. Nacida el 18 de agosto de 1950 en Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, la vida de Olga fue un testimonio de cariño, amor y gracia.

Como ama de casa dedicada, Olga centró sus días en el bienestar de su familia. Disfrutaba profundamente criando y cuidando a sus nietos, siempre anteponiendo su felicidad y necesidades a las suyas. Su cocina solía llenarse de calidez y del aroma de sus comidas caseras, que preparaba con amor para sus seres queridos. Cocinar era solo una de las maneras en que Olga expresaba su profunda devoción por su familia.

Olga encontraba placer en las pequeñas alegrías de la vida, como leer y vestirse bien. Era conocida como una mujer muy elegante, cuya distinción solo era comparable a su bondad. Ya fuera disfrutando de un buen libro o preparándose para ir a la iglesia, Olga aportaba dignidad y aplomo a todo lo que hacía.

Su corazón trascendía las paredes de su hogar. Miembro devota de su iglesia, la fe de Olga fue una luz que guió su vida. Mantuvo una relación afectuosa con sus vecinos, ofreciendo constantemente calidez y generosidad a quienes la rodeaban.

A Olga le precedieron en la muerte su esposo, Jorge Luis Figueroa; sus padres, Roman Sifuentes y Zenaida Reyes; su hermano, Roman Sifuentes, Jr.; y su hermana, Felicita Sifuentes. Le sobreviven sus hijos, Zenaida Figueroa (Jaime Ortiz) de Lake Wales; sus hijos, Jorge Figueroa (Marangeli Colon) de Haines City, Adith Figueroa (Melissa Ferrer) de Puerto Rico; Le sobreviven sus hermanos Amelia Sifuentes (Johnnie) de Ohio, Hector Sifuentes (Elsa) Rivera, Damaris Sifuentes de Winter Haven, Radames Sifuentes (Miriam) de Lake Wales y Jose Sifuentes de Ohio; siete nietos y un bisnieto.

El velorio se llevará a cabo desde las 5:30 p.m. hasta las 6:30 p.m. el miércoles 26 de agosto de 2026 en la Funeraria Marion Nelson en Lake Wales, oficiado por el Pastor Carlos Figueroa. El sepelio se realizará en el Cementerio Nacional de Florida al día siguiente.
