OFELIA DELGADO CASTILLO, 84

Ofelia Delgado Castillo of Lake Wales passed away July 24, 2019 at her residence.

She was born February 1, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Isaac and Elvira Martinez. She married Alejandro Castillo on February 14, 1959 and together they had eight children; five boys and three girls. They lived in Burnet, Texas and moved to Lake Wales in 1968, as migrant workers traveled from state to state. Ofelia was a very outgoing person and cared for her kids and grandkids. She was a very strong lady and is loved by so many. A lot of good memories of her will always be in our hearts.

Ofelia was preceded in death by her husband, Alejandro and three sons, Robert, Tony and Johnny. Survivors include her daughters, Beatrice Castillo of Lake Wales, Dianna Castillo of Lake Wales and Rachel Castillo of Winter Haven; two sons, Hector Castillo (Josie) of Haines City and Chris Castillo Burnet, Texas; 25 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with a rosary. Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales.
