Norman Clarence Whitlock

Norman Clarence Whitlock, Sr. 69 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at his residence.

He was born on December 4, 1945 in Frostproof, Florida to the late Albert and Mary (Richardson) Whitlock and has been a resident of this area for the past 50 years. He was a Supervisor for Lake Wales Housing Authority. He loved fishing, camping, NASCAR and restoring old cars and lawn mowers and was of the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Kathleen Bennett, Bonnie McCall and Annie Laurie Cullifer, brother, Al Whitlock and Sam Whitlock.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Carol Whitlock; daughter, Kay Gravley of Frostproof; sons, Chuck Whitlock, Randy Whitlock and Jamie Whitlock all of Lake Wales; sisters, Myrna Bennett and Peggy Carothers and husband Garland both of Lake Wales ; brothers, Dean Whitlock of Lake Wales, Henry Whitlock of Riverview; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Yarbrough officiating.
