Norman Ford

Norman Ford of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 at his residence.

He was born September 12, 1935 in Alabama; and he came here from West Palm Beach 40 years ago. He was retired from Acousti Engineering Co and was the owner/operator of Ford Groves. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed hunting (especially with his hunting dogs), fishing, vegetable gardening, collecting art, cooking, raising a yard full of chickens, and going to his second home on the Little Manatee River.

Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Terry Ford. Survivors include two sons, Regan Ford of Lake Wales and Jason Ford of Orlando; one sister, Sue Harris of California; and one brother, Tom Sexton of Tallahassee.

The family will be greeting friends from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Oakwood Country Club.
