Norman Walter Cooper, 87, of Frostproof, Florida walked on Monday, February 4, 2019.

He was born October 6, 1931, in Draper, Wisconsin to the late Wilmot and Rosa (Moorehouse) Cooper. He was the owner of the Moose Café and Moccasin Bar in Hayward, Wisconsin. He enjoyed hunting and fishing all over the country and was an avid outdoorsman. He was also a champion in Competitive Endurance horseback riding. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his companion Joan Jackelen of Eau Claire, WI; sons, Craig and Kathy Cooper and Richard and Denise Cooper, both of Hayward, WI; daughter, Janie (Cooper) and Jim Goettl, also of Hayward, WI and brothers, Ted and Marie Cooper of Waukesha, WI and Everett Cooper of Draper, WI, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at the Big Fish Golf Resort in Hayward, Wisconsin.
