COLUMBUS, Ind. -- Mrs. Norma Sparks of Columbus, Ind., a winter resident of Lake Wales, died of complications following surgery Wednesday (May 10, 2006) at Lake Wales Medical Center. She was 83.
Born in Nashville, Ind., on Oct. 12, 1922, she became a winter resident of Lake Wales 13 years ago, coming from Columbus. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Model A Restorers Club and the 35 CB Club. She was a member of Cummins Retired Employee and Kin. She was a Protestant.
Mrs. Sparks is survived by her husband, Cleo C. Sparks; daughter, Connie Lawless, Columbus; one grandson; two greatgranddaughters.
Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, Ind., under the direction of Barkes, Weaver, and Glick Funeral Home.
