She was born in Bangor, Maine on June 9, 1938, and spent her early years in Eustis, Maine where her father was a game warden. When she was young, the family moved to Augusta, Maine, where she grew up. She graduated from Cony High School in 1956, where she was busy with many activities.

They married six months after meeting on November 30, 1957. Norma accompanied Earl, when he went to Farmington Teachers' College, where both of their daughters were born.

In 1970, Norma and Earl bought frontage on Long Pond in Mt. Vernon. They built a camp where summers were spent, many life-long friends were

met, and memories were made.

During their lives, Norma and Earl, along with their daughters, traveled to forty-six states and 8 Canadian provinces in one summer. They continued their traveling together, hitting both Alaska and Hawaii, making their total forty-eight.

Norma and Earl retired to Lily Lake Resort in Frostproof, Florida, where Norma was very busy with golf leagues. At different times, she ran both

Men's league and Lady's league. She was also secretary to the Golf Committee for several years. She also worked to put on the Jack and Jill

tournaments.

Norma is survived by her devoted husband, Earl, her eldest daughter, Terri Fox and her husband, Francis, her youngest daughter, Cindi Briggs and her domestic partner, David Chubbuck, three grand daughters, Sarah, Lily, and Kelsey, and one great grandson, Walker.
