Nora Almeda Grant, 87 of Lakeland passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007 at the Highlands Lake Center.

Born October 15, 1920 in Crenshaw County, AL; she lived in Lake Wales for 50 years and moved to Lakeland 2 years ago. She was a homemaker and attended the First Assembly of God Church. She loved to garden, sew and quilting. She liked to fish and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Alderman of Bartow; Marjorie Hudson of Lakeland; Martha Spivey of Efland, NC; sons, Clarence Grant of Enterprise, AL; Larry Grant of Lutz; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 02, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
