Nita June Andrews, 90

Nita June Andrews of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

She was born December 4, 1931 in Lake Wales to the late Julius and Lucy Stokes. Nita was a part of the cafeteria staff for the Hillsboro County Public Schools and was of the Baptist faith.

Nita was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Rosson. She is survived by daughter, Jan Cole and husband Elmer of Tennessee; son, Phil Rosson and wife Vonnie of Columbia, South Carolina; current husband, James M. Andrews; daughters, Lorraine Restall and husband Dave of Tampa, and Alma Scarlett of Plant City; son, Michael Andrews and wife Laura of Tampa; and a total of nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Pastor Johnny Hare officiating. The private family interment will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens following the service.
