LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Nina C. "Jackie" Hopf of Lake Wales died of complications from Parkinson's disease Sunday (July 2, 2006) in Jupiter Pavillion, Jupiter. She was 87.

Born Sept. 20, 1918, in Jacksonville, Mrs. Hopf moved to Lake Wales from Miami in 1980. She worked as a secretary for the building and zoning department of Dade County. She attended Central Avenue Baptist Church, where she played organ.

Mrs. Hopf was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert F. "Bill" Hopf. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Adt, Miami, Judy Westberry, Valdosta, Ga., Marylee Jinright, Jupiter, Melissa Hopf, Valdosta; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lake Wales Cemetery.
