Nina Lenore Embich, 94

Nina Lenore Embich of Lake Wales passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at her daughters’ residence.

She was born December 16, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Everet and Lillian Irvin; she came here from Colorado in 2013. Nina was a homemaker and was a member of West Side Baptist Church. She volunteered at Rocky Mountain National Park for 28 years, and enjoyed genealogy, reading, hiking, and being outdoors.

Nina was preceded in death by her husband, John O. Embich on April 8, 2014; and son-in-law, Tommy Mize. She is survived by her daughters, Cheri Mize of Lake Wales, and Barbara Embich of Lakeland; son, Michael Embich of Pensacola; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Stephen Bolden officiating.
