NICOLASA ESCOBEDO, 77

Nicolasa Escobedo of Frostproof passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at AdventHealth Sebring.

She was born January 15, 1944 in Coahuila, Mexico to the late Blas Lira and Maria Leija; she came here from Mexico 26 years ago. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She loved spending time with her family, playing Loteria, cooking and singing spiritual songs.

Nicolasa was preceded in death by her husband, Panfilo Escobedo. Survivors include her daughters, Maribel Aguilar (Antonio) of Frostproof, Hermelinda Escobedo (Javier Chavez) of Texas and Almadelia Martinez (Tomas) of Georgia; son, Remigio Escobedo (Aracely) of Frostproof; nine brothers and sisters; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Frostproof with Rev. Timoteo Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
