Nicholas Joseph Apuzzo, 58

Nicholas Joseph Apuzzo of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Advent Health Lake Wales.

He was born November 22, 1962 in Poughkeepsie, New York to Nicholas and Gloria Apuzzo; he moved to Lake Wales from California 6 years ago. Nicholas was a video editor for CNN, he won two Emmy’s for video editing, and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was an amateur photographer, and collected rocks and crystals.

Nicholas is survived by his parents, Nicholas and Gloria Apuzzo; sister, Angela Apuzzo of Hackettstown, New Jersey; niece, Rebekah Overholser (William); nephew, Matthew Bogholtz; great-nephews, Patrick William, and Jonathan Nicholas; and loving cat, Heath.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at Lake Wales Memorial Gardens.
