Neal Buck, 75, of Lake Wales, passed away Sunday, September 2, in Lakeland.
Born February 25, 1943 in Flat Rock, MI to the late Howard and Keitha (Clayton) Buck, he moved to Lake Wales 10 years ago from Michigan. He graduated from Ferris State University with his Associates Degree and he worked as a technical programmer for the Lansing School District. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the U.S. Homeland Security Coast Guard Auxillary for 30 years. He was also a Deacon of the Etz Chayim Messianic Synagogue in Lakeland.
He is preceded in death by a son, Todd Alan Buck.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years Diane Buck of Lake Wales; son Howard Glen Buck (Linda) of Allen Park, MI and step sons Lonnie Summers (Samantha) and Christopher Summers all of Lansing, MI; 15 grandchildren: Peter, Andrew, Victoria, Sara, Nick, Chelsea, Brenden, Tesla, Aaron, Dalyn, Rose, Zack, Kailin, Marty and Courtney; 8 great grandchildren: Kat, Crimson, Skye, Hilleria, Saya, Shea, Lucy and Evelyn; and his brother Kermit Buck (Lisa) of Saline, MI.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday evening, September 5 at 7:00 PM at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales, with interment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on Thursday, September 6. Rabbi Yossi Laster will be officiating.
