Nancy Wolfson of Wauchula passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Florida Hospital in Orlando with her children by her side.
She was born September 4, 1955 in Chillicothe, OH to the late Claris & Darlene Richendollar; and she came to the area in 1976 from Ohio. She was a retired lab technician for Lake Wales Hospital and she attended the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales, the First Christian Church of Wauchula and the First Baptist Church of Wauchula. She was a seamstress and enjoyed sharing her many talents with others. She was a loving mother and showed her love by being supportive of her children in all they did. She was an example of strength, making the best of challenges and pressing on and serving others in love and generosity no matter what.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Linda Geiser and brothers, Bill and Frank Richendollar. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Parks and husband, James of Wauchula; son, Andrew Wolfson and wife, Mary of Louisville, KY; former husband, Steven Wolfson; three sisters, Joyce Davis of Oakridge, TN, Paulette Diehl of Kingston, OH and Betty Barns of Circleville, OH; two brothers, Shawn Richendollar of Jackson, OH and Ray Richendollar of Chillicothe, OH; and two grandchildren, Morgan and McKenzie.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 pm Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the First Christian Church in Wauchula with Pastor Tom Hartman officiating.
