Nancy Ruth Hitchcox

Nancy R. Hitchcox, 84 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Savannah Court ALF in Lake Wales, Florida.

She was born May 5, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Russell Harrison and Frances C. (Hradecky) Dougherty and has been a resident of the Lake Wales area for 2 ½ years. She moved here from Chagrin Falls, Ohio where she had been a resident for many years. She was a retired legal secretary for P.A. Lawrence in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Nancy enjoyed going out with friends, shopping from her catalogs and making purchases and spending time with her family. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Cleveland and her husband Larry of Lake Wales; sister, Susan Dougherty of Hollywood, Florida; 3 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
