Nancy Ann Ferreira

Nancy Ann Ferreira, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, at the Spring Lake Rehab Center in Winter Haven. Born on June 7, 1942, in Ticonderoga, New York, Nancy lived a life marked by caring, dedication, and joy in simple pleasures.

Nancy touched the lives of many during her time as an educator in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Outside of her professional life, Nancy found happiness in a variety of personal interests. She was an avid reader, always eager to lose herself in a good book. Her joy for crafting was evident, and she had a special place in her heart for her cats. The beach was a special place for Nancy, where she delighted in shelling and the natural beauty of the shore.

Nancy’s love for her family was unwavering. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Donna Wickersty, and son-in-law, Richard Wickersty; her sister, Susan Wolcott, and brother-in-law, Larry Wickersty; and her cherished grandchild, Tyler Wickersty. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Joe Ferreira, with whom she shared many loving years.
