Nancy Marie Cornell

Nancy Marie Cornell of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 at her residence.

She was born February 11, 1933 in Bridge Port, CT to the late William and Anna (Klaff) Leavy; and came to Lake Wales from Connecticut in 1983. Nancy was a homemaker and attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and reading.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Richard J. Cornell; daughters, April Monday (Robert) of Ft. Meade, Pamela Harrison (Keith) of Connecticut, Sheila Ziolkovski (Steve) of Lake Wales, and Lisa Vaughn (Douglas) of Lake Wales; sons, Richard Cornell, Jr. (Tammy) of Honea Path, SC and William Alberson (Michelle) of Tampa, FL; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Nancy will be greatly missed by friends, neighbors, and family. No services scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
