LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Myrtle Mae Coulliette of Lake Wales died of heart failure Tuesday (April 11, 2006) at home. She was 93.

Born in Luverne, Ala., on July 10, 1912, she came to Frostproof from there in 1927 and to Lake Wales in 1937. She was a retired citrus packer for Hunt Bros. She was a member of Central Avenue Baptist Church.

Mrs. Coulliette was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. "Slim" Coulliette. She is survived by her daughter, Mary E. Lanier, Callahan; brother, George Carter, Lake Wales; sister, Margaret Schwab, Melbourne; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Lake Wales. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof.
