Myrna Jean Messenger of Frostproof, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Lake Wales Medical Center in Lake Wales, Florida.
She was born July 19, 1937, in Green Camp, Ohio to the late Gideon and Thelma (Hart) Long. She was a customer service representative with HPM in Mount Gilead, Ohio, for over 30 years and has been a resident of Frostproof for twenty years. She loved to play bingo, enjoyed playing cards at the clubhouse and loved a full moon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Messenger, Sr. and daughter, Katherine Long.
Survivors include her companion, Abdallah F. Shaban; sons, Timothy Messenger and his wife, Ellen of Prospect, Ohio; Thomas Messenger and his wife, Joyce of Stillwater, Oklahoma and James E Messenger, Jr of Bucyrus, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
