Monte Lynn Ray, 74 of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at Bartow Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 13, 1943 in Panama City, Florida to the late Olber and Gartha (Carter) Ray and he has been a resident of this area for 10 years moving here from Birmingham, Alabama. He was a sales person in manufacturing, he loved to travel. Monte was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army.

Survivors include his sons, Troy Ray and Shawn Ray; sisters, Cheryl Grooms (Richard) of Marbury, Maryland, Raylene Langanke (Gary) of Lake Wales.
