Miriam Cintron Gonzalez, 83

Miriam Cintron Gonzalez of Bartow passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 at her residence.

She was born June 23, 1940 in Puerto Rico to the late Martin Cintron and Ana Gonzalez; she moved to Bartow from Puerto Rico in 2006. Miriam was a teacher in Puerto Rico and attended the Church of God. She loved to cook and enjoyed serving in her church.

Miriam was preceded in death by her sister, Pura Cintron. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Armaiz of Lakeland; son, Ariel Armiaz of Bartow; sister, Abigail Cintron; brothers, Benjamin Cintron, Natanael Cintron, Jacobo Cintron, and Noel Cintron; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at TBA Church (1815 CR 540A, Lakeland, Florida 33813). A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at TBA Church with Pastor Bryan Legg officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland.
