Minnie B. Davis

Minnie B. Davis of Frostproof passed away July 29, 2010 at the Rohr Home in Bartow.

She was born May 20, 1905 in Blue Cypress Lakes to the late Sam and Cora (Albritton) Brown. She has been a resident of Frostproof since 1965, moving there from Fort Pierce. She was a homemaker and a member of the Frostproof Church of God. She loved church and church activities.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel B Davis; sons, Milton and Broward Davis; daughter, Freda Brown. Survivors include her daughter, Daisy Brown of Tampa; son, Sam Davis of Okeechobee; 14 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 17 Great-Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the Frostproof Church of God with Rev. Rex Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery, Frostproof.
