Mildred Lucille Stephenson

Mildred L. Stephenson, 85, of Frostproof, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at her residence.

She was born January 11, 1930 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Connie Lee and Johnnie Ethel (Marshall) Herndon. She has been a resident of the area since 1948 coming from Alabama. She was a Warehouse Inventory Control Manager for Orange Company of Florida, Inc. And was of the Assembly of God Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Maxwell D. Stephenson 2001, brother, Leon Herndon, Roy Herndon; sisters, Martha Grace Herndon, Ruby Deloros Herndon.

Survivors include her daughters Sandra Lamons of Lakeland, FL, Susan Waller of Wauchula, FL; sons Jerry Stephenson of Frostproof, FL, Mike Stephenson of Carlinville, IL; brothers John Herndon of Durant, FL, Billy Herndon of Ft. Pierce, FL, Carlton Herndon of Abbeville, AL; sisters Shelby Lingenfellder of Melbourne, FL, Judy Herndon of Frostproof, FL; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 3:00 PM until the funeral service at 4:00 PM at Mulberry First Assembly of God with Rev. Johnny Raburn officiating. Interment will be private. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.
