Mildred Marie Fears

Mildred M. “Susie” Baker Fears, 70, of Lake Wales passed away, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at her residence.

She was born August 18, 1943 in Marshall, Texas to the late John W. and Mildred L. (Woodall) Baker and has been a resident of the area since 2001 moving here from Marshall, Texas. She was a retired Sales Clerk for JC Penney’s. Mildred was a former member of Keenagers, Nalcrest Residents Association and the Nalcrest Ladies Club, in her former years she enjoyed playing Bocce, Dominoes, Forty Two and Card games with her family. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church of Fedhaven.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years Donald M. “Don” Fears; son, Timothy “Tim” Fears and wife Susan of Lake Wales; brothers, Ronald Wayne Baker of Longview, TX, Donald Joe Baker of Hallsville, TX; 1 grandchild, Summer Vaselovic

Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Monday, March 17, 2014 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida with Rev. Horace Howell officiating. Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
