Mildred Davenport

Mildred Inez Davenport, 86 passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at The Grove Center.

She was born October 22, 1927 to the late Herman N. and Leah (Mann) Justice; she has been a resident of the area for over 60 years coming here from Dade City, Florida. She was a retired Ward Secretary at the Lake Wales Medical Center for 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, Mildred was of the Baptist Faith.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joseph Davenport.
She is survived by her daughter; Nancy J. Davenport of Winchester, KY., sons; Robert and wife Joyce of Frostproof, Fl., Michael and wife Carol of Lake Wales, Fl., Dennis and wife Cathy of Lake Wales, Fl., sister; Dorothy M. Agner of Dade City, Fl., brother; Earl Justice of Quitman, GA., 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00PM- 5:00PM Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, June 23, 2014 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. With Rev. Earl Justice Officiating.
