Mildred Carnley Barnes

Mildred Carnley Barnes, 72,of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at her residence. She was born on October 21, 1943 in Walton County, Florida to the late Frank and Annie Cola (Bryan) Carnley and she has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a retired Bookkeeper for Polk County and attended Impact Church. Mildred loved to cook, sing, gardening and working puzzles. Survivors include her husband, Lynn Barnes, son, Terry Barnes (Shelia) Barnes of Ft. Payne, Alabama; 5 grandchildren, Sarina Tucker, Kyle and Dustin Barnes, Aly and Will George; 4 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Nelson officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until service time.
