Michael F. "Big Mike" Williamson, Sr.

Michael F. “Big Mike” Williamson, Sr. 64 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Lake Wales Medical Center. He was born on April 11, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Fred and Frances (Flanders) Williamson and he has been a resident of this area since 1982 moving here from Deerfield, Florida. He was a Wrecker Driver for Meyers Towing. Mike was an avid fisherman, loved his family and friends, he never knew a stranger, his favorite teams where the Packers, Miami Hurricanes, Lake Wales Highlanders and whoever was playing Bartow or the Bears. Survivors include his sons, Michael Williamson, Jr. (Kristi) of Lake Wales, JP Williamson (Toni) of Lake Wales, Timmy Trent (Marla) of Port St. Lucie; 8 grandchildren, Brittany, Eric, Amber, Stephen, Bailey, Lexi, Riley, and Rorey and one great grandson, Hunter Cole; longtime companion, Cindy Overlock of Lake Wales; step children, Jessica Fitts and Josh Overlock. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 3:00 pm until service time. Memorial services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
