Michael Roy Mobley, 69

Michael Roy Mobley of Lake Wales passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

He was born March 5, 1953 in Lake Wales to the late Roy and Frances Mobley. Michael was a Locomotive Engineer for Estech and a Fruit and Vegetable Inspector for the State of Florida. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Roy Cleve Mobley in 1971; mother, Frances Hansen Mobley in 1982; paternal grandparents, James and Ida Mobley; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Bertha Hansen; brother, James Scott Mobley; and twin daughters, Stacey and Lacey Mobley. He is survived by his wife, Patty Mobley; children, Aaron Roy Mobley (Angel), Lauren Mobley Pugh, and Michael Brian Mobley; stepchildren, Scott Tanner (Tina), Chris Eures (Alicia), Ivan Eures (Meghan), Stephanie Albritton, and Carrie Jowers (Dewey); sister, Cynthia Mobley Osbon; grandchildren, Clayton Bush, Nolan Mobley, Laci Mobley, Lucas Pugh, Kendall Pugh, Blaine Mobley, and Ariya Mobley; nephews, James Seth Mobley, and Donald Nicolas Osbon.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Stephen Bolden and Rev. David Koon officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Wales Cemetery.
