Michael D. "Mike" Ison

Michael D. "Mike" Ison of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 in Lake Wales.

He was born September 21, 1957 in Gary, IN; and he came here from Schererville, IN in 2004. He was a deputy with the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Herb Ison. Survivors include his wife of 5 years, Kellene Ison; mother, Elizabeth "Lib" Ison of Schererville, IN; sister, Debbie Redar of Schererville, IN; niece, Madisen; nephew, Christian; and two dogs, Samson & Logan.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales with Father Anthony Bluett officiating.
