Michael “Mickey” Huggins, 62, of Lake Wales passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 at his residence.

Born December 19, 1945 in Lake Wales; he moved to Salt Springs from Lake Wales one year ago. He was a retired mechanic for Citrus World and a veteran of Viet Nam, serving in the U.S. Army. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Pat Huggins; daughters, Jennifer & Randy Gilbert of Lake Wales; Shelli Huggins & John Perkins of Salt Springs, FL; sons, Kris Huggins & Erin Dickson of Winter Haven; Mike & Kelly Huggins of Winter Haven; Jeff Huggins & Cathy Simmons of Lake Wales; brother, Raymond & Donna Huggins of Winter Haven; sisters, Merle Peterson of Lake Wales; Louise & Keith Pickles of Salt Springs, FL; sister-in-law, Martha Huggins of Fort Meade; and 8 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales with Rev. Denny Cothern officiating.
