Michael Joseph Haughey

Michael J. Haughey 31, of Winter Haven passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Lakeland due to a motorcycle accident.

He was born January 10, 1982 in Norwalk, Connecticut to Norman & Debra (Bray) Haughey and has been a resident of the area for 10 years moving here form Rhode Island. He was a Driver in Granite Fabrication. Michael was all about family and enjoyed spending time with them. He had a heart of gold; he was always there for everybody and was of the Catholic Faith.

Survivors include his fiance, Yesadia Ramos, parents, Norman & Debbie Haughey of Babson Park; daughter, Elyssia Haughey, son, Jaiden Haughey all of Winter Haven; brothers, Norman Haughey, Dean and wife Jennifer Haughey, Brian Haughey, Daniel Haughey; paternal grandmother, Camila Haughey; maternal grandparents, Harold and Jessica Bray; Aunts and Uncles, Jerry, Rose, Ann, Danny, Bobby Eric; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:30 pm Sunday, July 14, 2013 and the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. Glenn Charest officiating.
