Michael Thomas Hanlon, 82

Michael T. Hanlon of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale.

He was born September 10, 1934 in Geneva, Illinois to the late Joseph G. and Grace A. (Frost) Hanlon. He has been a resident of the area since 1999 coming from Elgin, Illinois. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Korean war. Michael loved wood working, gardening and reading. He was of the Catholic faith.

He is preceded in death by his son Daniel T. Hanlon, brothers Robert and John Hanlon.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Woolcott Hanlon, daughters Annette Ozgowicz (Michael) of Belvedere, IL, Linette Hall (Ed) Byron, IL, Debra Meeks of Rockford, IL, Tina Woolcott of Dawson Springs, KY, Christine Nordine (Larry) of Stillman Valley, IL, Deborah Biederman (Jim) of Onawa, IO, sons Robert Woolcott (Teresa) of Grand Junction, CO, Donald Woolcott (Sissy) Savanna, IL, Michael J. Hanlon of St. Charles, IL, Richard A. Hanlon of Matthews, MO, many grandchildren and many more great grandchildren, and 1 great- great grandchild

Memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Natures Edge Clubhouse.
