Michael Jay Green

Michael Jay Green, 77, of Winter Haven passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at the Heart of Florida.

He was born December 28, 1940 in Lansing, MI to the late Walter and Margaret Green; he came here from Lansing, MI in 1991. Michael was a retired electrician for Oldsmobile and a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 34 in Haines City.

Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Lee Green. Survivors include his son, Thomas Green of Lake Wales; sister, Barbara Ann Hastings (Russ) of Westfield, PA; nieces and nephews, Rebecca and Bailey Gleason, Russie and Rachel Hastings, Heather Gleason (Todd) and Holly Tokar (Rob).

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.  Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Heather Gleason officiating.

The family will be hosting a reception following the service.
