Michael William “Mike” Franks of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021.

He was born January 16, 1979 in Lansing, Michigan to William and Mary Franks; he has been a resident of Lake Wales for the past 20 years. Mike was a delivery driver and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and coloring books. He loved hanging out with his friends and doing karaoke.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, William Franks. He is survived by his daughter, Ryanna Merillat (Shawn Feltz) of Adrian, Michigan; mother, Mary Lou Franks of Lake Wales; and sisters, Lori Barth (Doug) of Adrian, Michigan, June Gonzalez (Peter) of Adrian, Michigan, and Tara Lithander (Donnie) of Eaton Rapids, Michigan.

A meet and greet will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
