Michael Delfoss

MICHAEL WILSON DELFOSS, 73 Michael W. DelFoss of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 30, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to the late William and Margaret (Haselhuhn) DelFoss. He was an engineer/draftsman, of the Catholic faith and a veteran of Korea and Vietnam, serving in the United States Army. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion, Moose Lodge and Eagle Member in Michigan. Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Gary DelFoss and sister, Sandy Rudy. Survivors include his wife Josephine DelFoss of Lake Wales, FL, daughter, Debra Johnson of Detroit, MI; son, Daniel DelFoss (fiancé, Karen) of Detroit, MI; step-sons, Chris Cerovina of Detroit, MI and Shawn Cerovina of Detroit, MI; sisters, Cynthia Spillers (Jerry) of Texas and Sharon McGrath (Dennis) of Detroit, MI; and four grandchildren, Marcel, D.J., Sophia and Lucas. Memorial service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Father David officiating.
