Michael N. Cox of Plant City passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace.
He was born November 27, 1950 in Avon Park to the late Edgar Ned & Edna Marie (Basemore) Cox; and he moved from Hawaii to the Tampa area in 1998. He was retired from the U.S. Army and was a program manager for Evergreen Aviation. He was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed grilling meat and having BBQ with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 6 years, Bridget Cox; two sons, Ned Cox II of Atlanta, GA and Steven Rucker of Tampa; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Frostproof with Rev. Donald Grantham officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
