Merlyne Jordan

Merlyne Jordan of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born January 20, 1933 in Funston, GA to the late William & Winnie (Hampton) Jordan; and she came here from Newnan, GA in 1953. She was retired from Hunt Brother's after 35 years and was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching wrestling.

She is survived by many friends, including Michael Lang of Lake Wales and Laura Sharpe of Lake Wales.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 am at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home until the graveside service at 11:00 am Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
