Melbert Hinthorne

Melbert Hinthorne, 93 of Frostproof, Florida passed away Wednesday August 20, 2014 at her residence due to Cancer.

She was born July 18, 1921 to the late John L. and Caroline (Albritton) Sheffield. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a lunch room worker for Frostproof Elementary School and a member of the Frostproof Church of God.

She is preceded in death by her husband Arnold E. Hinthorne, Brothers Harmon, Jack, Horace, Infant; Sisters Alberta, Beatrice, Carolyn

Survivors include Step Daughter Sandra Cobb of California; Brother Kelly Sheffield of Frostproof, FL.; Brother in Law Chuck Hinthorne of Lakeland, FL.; Sisters Alvena Blackwelder Arnold of Frostproof, Fl., Ruby Cannon of Lakeland, Fl., Alda Phillips of Lakeland, Fl.; 2 step Grandchildren.

Services will be held 11:00AM Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Frostproof Church of God with Visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM with the Rev. Gary Cannon and Rev. Rodney Cannon officiating. Entombment will be at Silver Hill Cemetery.
