FROSTPROOF--Melba Arlene Bryant of Frostproof died of heart failure Monday, November 27, 2006 at her daughter’s residence in Babson Park. She was 64

Born February 12, 1942 in Ashburn, GA; she was a retired nursing assistant for Dr. Bateman’s office. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Hudgins of Babson Park; Sandy Ferrell of Frostproof; son, Samuel Hudgins of Wauchula; brother, Howell Bryant of Winter Haven; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 30, 2006 at the Southside Baptist in Frostproof with Rev. Steve Bass officiating. Interment will follow at the Forrest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
