FROSTPROOF -- Mrs. May Nell Arnold of Frostproof died of congestive heart failure Thursday (May 4, 2006) at Lake Wales Medical Center. She was 86.

Born in Midland City, Ala., on May 7, 1919, she came to Frostproof as a child. She was a fresh fruit grader. She was a Methodist.

Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Arnold. She is survived by her daughter, Mittie Jane Robarts, Frostproof; sister, Gene King, Satellite Beach; two granddaughters; three great-grandsons.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Silver Hill Cemetery.
