Maryann Rita Eversole, 71

Maryann Rita Eversole of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at her residence.

She was born December 27, 1952 in Utica, New York to the late Chester Longale and Lillian Bunyon. Maryann was a bartender at Y’all Come Back Saloon for 20 years. She was a fun loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Some of her favorite things to do were scratching lotto tickets, throwing dice, and shopping at the care center. Maryann was a friend to everyone, she never met a stranger. Maryann would give you the shirt off her back or the last dollar in her wallet. She never judged anyone and showed everyone love. Her kindness was unmatched. Her dedication to her girls and grandsons was remarkable.

Maryann was preceded in death by her brother, Chet Longale. She is survived by her daughters, Rachel Packer of Lake Wales, Vicki McDougald and husband Sean McDougald of Homeland, and Tiffany Eversole of Lake Wales; brother, Tom Smith of Utica, New York; and grandchildren, Thomas Ellison, Matthew Aboulfadl, Travis Ellison, and Lyric Eversole.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Mr. Chris Sonnier officiating. A celebration of life will follow the service at Y’all Come Back Saloon.
