Mary Sue Wyrosdick, 84, of Lake Wales, Passed Monday, May 1, 2023, at her residence.
She was born January 1, 1939, in Coffee County, Alabama to the late David E. and Myrtle L. (Jacobs) Wambles, she has been a resident of this area since 1953 moving here from Elba, Alabama. She was a retired Cashier for Scotty’s Inc. Mary was a member of Impact Church. Mary loved to work in her yard, her yard was her spotlight, she loved to be home and going to church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Wyrosdick in 1995, parents, David and Myrtle Wambles, daughter, Mary Jane Wyrosdick, son, Eddie Wayne Wyrosdick, grandson, Scott Wyrosdick, brother, William D. Wambles, daughter n law, Rose Wyrosdick
Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Sue Griffin (Robert) of Winter Haven; sons, Timothy Charles Wyrosdick of Lake Wales; brothers, QP Wambles (Stephanie) of Babson Park, Ray Wambles (Clara) of Winter Haven, James Harold Wambles of Dothan, Alabama; sister, Dorothy Campbell of Navarre, Fl.; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Evans, Mandy Hayes, Selena Rae Harrison and Kelsey Wyrosdick and 19 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Friday, May 5, 2023, from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Lake Wales with Rev. Walter Nelson officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers family request donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
