LAKE WALES--Mary Nell Williams of Lake Wales died of heart failure Sunday (Oct. 29, 2006) at the Lake Wales Medical Center. She was 79.

She was born December 13, 1926 in Elba, AL; she came to the area in 1940 from Elba, AL. She was a retired fruit packer for Alcoma. She was a member of the Revival Tabernacle and enjoyed yard sales and shopping.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Williams 2 years ago. Survivors include nieces & nephews, Charlotte Barnett of Babson Park; Carolyn Miller of Lake Wales; Ronnie Brannen of Lake Wales; Shirley Coatney of Lake Wales; David Brannen of Wintr Haven; Emma Jean Childs of Geneva, AL; and Tanya Buzinski of Orlando.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 01, 2006 at the Lake Wales Cemetery with Rev. Robert Hare officiating.
