MARY TICHNELL, 90
School Cafeteria Worker
LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Mary C. Tichnell of Lake Wales died of heart failure Monday (June 26, 2006) at Good Shepherd Hospice. She was 90.
Born in Ridgeley, W.Va., on Jan. 28, 1916, she came to Lake Wales from West Lanham Hills, Md., in 2000. She was a retired cafeteria worker for West Lanham Hills Elementary. She was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church of Landover, Md.
Mrs. Tichnell was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Thayer Tichnell. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Rae Martin, Lake Wales, Vicky Lynn Tichnell, Alexandria, Va., Jill Leslie Tichnell, St. Leonard's, Md.; four grandchildren.
Services will be held in Hyattsville, Md., under the direction of Gasch's Funeral Home.
