Mary "Jackie" Scali

Mary J. "Jackie" Scali of Honaker, VA passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Royal Oaks Nursing Home in Avon Park.

She was born August 26, 1928 in Lebanon, VA to the late Burl and Dell (Barrett) Smith; and has been coming to Florida as a winter resident since 1998 from Honaker, VA. She was a homemaker, attended the First United Methodist Church of Honaker, and a member of Rebekah Lodge #31 in Honaker. She enjoyed photography, cooking, watching evangelical shows on television, reading the Bible, and she truly had a servants heart.

Survivors include her husband, Aldo R. Scali; daughter, Deborah Ann Scali of Avon Park; son, Ronald D. "Ron" Scali and his wife Tina of Frostproof; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
