School Cafeteria Manager

Mary Jane Rissler, 88, of Lake Wales passed away Monday, June 16, 2008 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born September 10, 1919 in New Albany, IN; she came here from Bartow in 2006. She was a school cafeteria manager for 22 years and of the Methodist faith. She was a member of the Eastern Star in New Albany and an honorary member of the Eastern Star in Moore Haven, FL.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Orlan M. Rissler. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Sunderhaus of Lake Wales and Jerrie Harn of Mulberry; son, Dewey W. Rissler of New Albany, IN; brothers, George W. Baker of New Albany, IN and Jerry Baker of Greenville, IN; sister, Billie Hartlege of Springhill, FL; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Memorial services were held 11:00 AM, Friday, June 20, 2008 at the Mulberry United Methodist Church.
