Mary V. Parker

Mary Virginia Parker, 72 Mary V. Parker of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at Winter Haven Hospital. She was born January 15, 1945 in Salisbury, Maryland to the late Ernest E. and Mary (Hudson) Anderson. She has been a resident of the area since 2000 coming from Salisbury, Maryland. She was a Staff Correction Sargent for the United States Army for 14 years. She was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. Mary was a life member of the VFW post 2996 in Pittsville, MD and post 8296 in Ocean City, MD. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. She is survived by her God daughter Cindy Blackburn, uncles Johnnie Hudson, Stanley Hudson, half-brother Kenneth William Parker and his wife Teresa, nephew Link Parker and his wife Shawn, great nephew Zack Parker and her dog Trooper. Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
